The Triad
The Triad is a family house inspired by a 3-ring resonance structure. While triangular rooms are typically avoided in architecture due to spatial inefficiency and psychological discomfort, this design reinterprets their tension through the lens of organic chemistry. Drawing from the imbalance between electron-deficient carbocations and electron-rich π bonds, the house expresses this contrast in architectural massing. Symmetry and spatial flow reflect the resonance structure's stability and zero.
